Roman and Marina have known each other since school. However, due to Roman's unforgivable mistake, they part badly. Many years later, in a bookstore, the characters meet again. Unable to believe in such luck, Roman watches Marina from a distance. Afraid to miss her again, he approaches and starts a conversation. Marina is shocked by his sudden appearance, but agrees to talk. As a result of their long communication, at first Marina learns a lot about Roman for herself, then Roman learns shocking news from the girl's life.
