About the Author

CJ Laney was born in Hermitage, TN and began drawing and having a unique imagination before he could even write. He traveled with his mother and was able to see the diverse cultures from coast to coast before he was 18 years old. CJ was home-schooled through most of middle school and high school and dreamed only of being a great artist and writer his whole life. CJ began to study from artists like Andrew Loomis, Michel Lauricella, Leonardo Da Vinci, Alex Ross, James Gurney, and Thomas Kinkade. As he wanted to tell stories he began reading books like the Republic, Sherlock Holmes, The Iliad, DC’s Kingdom Come, and DC’s Superman: Peace on Earth. CJ lived primarily in Tennessee, Arizona, and Florida. CJ completed his book completely including all art, story, characters, and editing. He did this for you, his audience.
