Overview

Vietnam is a fascinating country, still unspoilt by mass tourism unlike some nearby countries, and although there are several guides already published (including one from the author of this book), they tend to concentrate in the main attractions, most of which are concentrated in the city centre, while ignoring some of the beauties, which although not far away from the centre, hardly see any foreign face.
From the awarded author of "Saigon 2013: Guide to Ho Chi Minh City", and "Vietnam Business and people, understanding to cultural differences" comes this new guide book to help you discover some hidden gems in Ho Chi Minh City, giving you the opportunity to observe and experience real life of Vietnamese people.
What will you find in this book:
- Very interesting hidden temples, covering the many religions practised in Vietnam.
- How to reach the suggested sites from the city centre.
- Time to reach them, and how much a taxi will cost.
- Suggestions for best eats nearby.
- Daily real life of Vietnamese.
- Markets where Vietnamese shop (Ben Thanh market is for tourist only!) at Vietnamese prices.
- Lots of pictures and maps.
- Suggested walking itineraries, and time to do them.
- Up to date information as per January 2014
