The purpose of the blogs is not to sell books, but for the books to encourage people to read the blogs. The author's books, like essays, are both, the result of ideas discussed in his blogs, as well as progenitors or forerunners of ideas that are then discussed in those blogs. The two, fiction and non-fiction correspond to Being and Becoming. Essentially, they deal with Human Potential and endeavour to stimulate human thought towards Secular Ethics.
Each volume covers approx. one year, and the results comprise between 75 to 94 blogs. The blogs are based on the premise that fundamentalism in both, science and religion tends to set people apart, while faith brings us together.
