About the Author

Dr. Sri Banerjee has been part of promoting and researching environmental topics most of his life. He is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist though the National Environmental Health Association. Dr. Sri Banerjee has over 20 years of experience in the areas of Public Health, Global Health, and Environmental Health. He has worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the areas of infectious diseases and has conducted award-winning research in social environmental justice, especially with peer-reviewed research about "forever" chemicals and lead. In addition, he has been actively involved in promoting environmental health topics and has over 100 journal articles including the Journal of American Medical Association and the Lancet. He has been actively advocating for indigenous rights.
