De nem ezen a címen vonult be a tömegkultúrába, hanem a Nautilus tengeralattjáró parancsnoka, Némó kapitány nevén. Jelen kiadásunk az első, Szász Károly által készített műfordításra alapul, pusztán azokat a kifejezéseket tettük át mai nyelvre, amelyek nélkül a mű ma már élvezhetetlen lenne.
