While tenacious 26- year-old SheHorny strives to obtain the educational and intellectual opportunities available to the elite, she finds herself instead lying on a hospital bed for the first time with migraine activities, struggling to face reality as she waits to recover and take life head on while her physical body is almost motionless, SheHorny notices that her sexual drive is still on autopilot. This time around as she guards her heart for future hope and gains, she has become lost in her journey for a better life. With no loving hands to guide her and no help from a companion, SheHorny finds herself working lonely hours at night. Is it really schizophrenia, she asks her psychiatrist? Her strength is worn and her heart is lonesome as she struggles with her spiritual life as well as her sexual drive. As hard times creep in, SheHorny finds herself on the psychiatric bed.
Two years later, as she comes to her senses and learns her lesson that life consists of more than just intellectual gain, achievements, self-independence, and self-sufficiency, 28 year old SheHorny wonders if she will find a mate and the self-independence she's always craved. Then right before thanksgiving SheHorny crashes again, her condition gets worse, she loses her job, her educational endeavors go out the window, and the only hope she has is a best friend who promises to pick her up from the South and to move her back up North, bailing out on her at the last moment. SheHorny's hope is quickly dashes and shatters for a second time She finds herself on another psychiatric bed.
As She fights and prays for a miracle before the 4th of July, she is invited to attend church to hear a young Preacher who came to town named T.C., who is with her cousin. After several Sabbaths in attendance, SheHorny finds the strength, faith, love and hope in a source she didn't realize it could come from. Now SheHorny believes her struggle to be free financially, emotionally and psychologically, and to be secure sexually is more than just a natural phenomenon. After meeting T.C. she realizes that moving South was more than a coincidence. Through her faithful attendance and faith she now believes there are spiritual elements, as well as deep ancestral and family problems that must deal with and overcome. She being aware of her father struggled as a youngster with his own load to maintain a young wife, while feeling vibrant, handsome and strong, entangles him with two mistress sisters who now are each rearing his child.
But SheHorny won't settle for that baggage in her own life as she now believes that God is on her side as her guide. Through the kindness and teachings of T.C. she comes to understand the true meaning of life, love, order, and friendship with herself first and with those around her. As the days unfold her feelings slowly start to change toward him. She finds herself falling for the young T.C. except there is one problem: T.C. has no feelings for her in fact T.C.'s heart belongs to someone else.
Through trial times and perseverance, as real love rings the doorbell of her heart, the honest response from her brings her to her knees as she allows God to penetrate her heart as well. The result: will SheHorny hold on and have a change of heart? Will She find herself and her greatest attribute, love and pursue God, or will she chase T.C. relentlessly? Will her new Christian faith, mental abilities, spiritual strength enlightens her, and help her to gain the strength she needs to overcome masturbation and to live with the new perspective on how a true Christian ought to live?
