Overview

This Holy Book titled 'Upanishads Dedicated to Lord Ram' is a unique, rare and an excellent presentation in English language of all the Upanishads dedicated to Lord Ram.

These Upanishads are the following: (i) Ram Purva Tapini Upanishad, (ii) Ram Uttar Tapini Upanishad, (iii) Ram Rahasya Upanishad, (iv) Mukti Upanishad, (v) Kalisantaran Upanishad, (vi) and Sita Upanishad.

            This is followed by 2 Appendices, the first describing what a Upanishad is, and the second having around sixty wonderful verses from Upanishadic texts that bring to the reader the salient philosophy and teaching of these classical spiritual & metaphysical scriptures which have no parallel in the world. Appendix 3 gives a guide that helps the reader to understand how the Roman Transliteration has been done.

            The Book contains the Roman Transliteration of the verses, which is followed by English renderings and detailed explanatory notes in a simple language. This Book should be exceptionally useful to even the lay reader as much as it would be of great help and of reference value to the researchers and scholars of ancient Indian scriptures, philosophy and classics, both the temporal and the spiritual.

About the Author

Ajai Kumar Chhawchharia left home when he was approximately 29 years of age due to an inner call of his heart that told him to devote his life in the service of his beloved Lord God, Sri Ram. Worldly attractions did not enchant him at all. So, he didn’t marry, and after his father’s death he came and settled permanently in Ayodhya, the holy town in India associated with Lord Ram.

Presently he works as an honorary manager of a world famous Kanak Bhavan Temple at Ayodhya, and spends his time writing in English so that the world can access the wonderful nectar of metaphysical, spiritual and devotional philosophy that is contained in Indian scriptures for which they are so renowned.
