Overview

When Sharon Cooper and her daughter, Callie, open a locked trunk in her estranged mother’s attic, they find the first in a series of unwanted discoveries. Sharon grew up as an only child – but there are letters from three half-sisters. More secrets reveal theft, blackmail, an affair and murder. Clues are found in a hidden safe, a secret room with reports from a private investigator, a painting from an unknown artist and a personal planner. Despite the awkward circumstances, Sharon connects with her previously-unknown, extended family and she finds the mother figure she always needed in her newly discovered aunt.

Sandra has had a wealth of experiences and has met a wide variety of personalities, each with their own idiosyncrasies. This fertile bed is the source of ideas for creating the characters you will learn to love and hate. Sandra has always had the ability to clearly describe ideas and feelings.

Tamarine Vilar has one son and also lives in Portland. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in writing from Portland State University. Because her mother loved to read, she read to Tamarine from infancy. As a result, reading became her favorite way to relax. But Tamarine has more than just a passion for reading. She loves to write as well. Professors and fellow students alike have enjoyed her writing and have encouraged her to continue her pursuit. She has the natural ability to evoke emotion, even tears, with her writing. Tamarine’s ultimate goal is to have a career in the book industry so she can help others with the same passion for reading and writing.
