Rick Silanskas awoke early on the morning of December 23, 2002, his life had changed forever. A vivid dream he had just had became the driving force in his life.
In his dream he saw a small girl in need of his help. He was so convinced of her existence that he began searching for her. His heart told him that the girl lived in Russia so he contacted an adoption agency specializing in international adoptions and told them of his dream. He even provided them with a sketch of the little girl drawn by an artist friend.
