UNSEEN HANDS
The dreadful Civil War claimed his father when he was only a few weeks of age. His mother never really accepted her resulting fate. She blamed the boy for much of her misfortune. As a boy, Thomas was largely on his own. His mother would never tell him about his father in spite of his desires to know more about the man. Circumstance eventually thrust him into a changed environment where others attempted to exert their influence on his character and quest for manhood.

Charles is currently active in many civic and volunteer agencies in the local area. He is also an active member of the Gideons International.
