About the Author

James Clayton born in Minneapolis, Minnesota October 11th 1986 is the youngest of 5 boys with a little sister. At an early age I was very active and involved with extracurricular activities playing chess at the age of 6.
Learning the importance of strategist and making moves properly I instantly fell in love with chess. At age 8 I began playing football at my neighborhood park, Powder Horn Park. All the way into high school I played football and basketball for them.
Graduated South High in 2005, was heavily involved with sports there as well, playing football, basketball, and drums for the school band. In high school is when I realized that I wanted to do something big with my life, and take things to that next level.
I started a music group with local child hood friends, which we would meet up every weekend at one of their house and have a blast rapping over industry instrumentals. My first ever try at organizing an event and getting us a show was my junior year in high school, when I heard about a local student group putting together a talent show I felt it was necessary for me and my team to join, and I also thought that would be a good way to get this girl I was in love with a chance to see me shinning.
Ever since that moment I was destined for greatness although I was very aware that it would take hard work and dedication to get me to that next level. After applying for many jobs and hardly ever getting call backs, I thought it was only right to figure out a way to fend for myself, I always knew I wouldn’t get a fair shake are the opportunity I really wanted unless I made it happen for myself.
