Overview

Jaen, Spain. Early morning of July 11, 2006. A young man flees in a hurry from Plaza de Santa María. The corpse of an older man is left lying in front of the facade of the Cathedral, face down, naked, and covered in droppings and pigeon feathers.

Something is hidden under Jaen's Cathedral, and only the members of a clandestine organization, as well as the highest authority of the Vatican, are aware of the secret.

For centuries everything has remained unchanged, but the appearance of a naked corpse in front of the Jaen Cathedral (real news published in 2006) triggered a succession of events that puzzled everyone in the police office. Private detective Carlos Moeckel has the task of finding out who is behind the series of murders that plague the city.

Various events that occurred during the crucifixion of Yeshua the Nazarite intertwine with the novel, with the enigmatic figure of Joseph of Arimathea as a key participant.

"Under the Cathedral" is a frenetic thriller in which fiction and reality continually cross the fine line that separates them.
