Maxine Johnson retired from teaching high school senior English and gifted students and now writes full time and sings with her husband, Bob, a retired minister of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. She continues to be active in the work of the women of the ARP denomination and in her local church. She lives with her husband in Florida, and they have three grown children and six grandchildren, spread across the South—from Texas to South Carolina. She loves the Lord and finds great comfort and peace in His sovereignty, grace, and love.
