Overview

Description: This is an all-inclusive book for physicians who are involved, or want to get involved, in the performance and interpretation of musculoskeletal ultrasound studies. There is a wealth of relevant, practical, anatomic, clinical, and imaging information in the almost 1,000 pages. Given the emphasis on ultrasound, the extensive images are welcome as are the anatomic dissection specimens and medical drawings which serve to further demonstrate the principles and the imaging presentations of the entire spectrum of musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Purpose: The goal is to provide the definitive resource for specific, state-of-the-art musculoskeletal imaging and interpretation information that practitioners need in ultrasound imaging. As this is a definitive reference on the ultrasound appearance of common musculoskeletal disorders, the authors have truly succeeded in their goal.
