Purpose: The purpose is to provide a how-to guide to a range of ultrasound procedures.
Audience: The audience includes practicing physicians, residents, and technicians, generally in radiology, but also in other specialties trying to learn image-guided procedures.
Features: The book covers the gamut of procedures, ranging from vascular access to tumor ablation. The authors do a nice job of providing pictures and animations for each of the steps involved in the procedures.
Assessment: This is very useful as a learning tool and as a quick reference. The authors have accomplished what they set out to do.
