Overview

Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe.

The traditional Ukrainian cuisine includes many types of meat such as chicken, pork, beef and fish. Ukrainians also eat a lot of potatoes, grains and vegetables.

Popular traditional dishes include varenyky, which are boiled dumplings, nalysnyky, which are pancakes, kapuśniak and borscht, which are soups, pierogies and holubtsy, which is stuffed cabbage rolls.
