Soldiers themselves were appearing from blockhouses, sometimes even wounded. They just asked to take shower and change in something clean. For this they sincerely rewarded people with canned fish, at times with canned meat.» 

«War is always an uninvited guest. It destroys, frightens children and grown-ups, and sucks life-giving juices from the earth. Unfortunately, when adults run into huge debts a small war but takes place. These are bankrupt presidents, who play in big wars and then soldiers fulfil incomprehensible commands of the officers and many of them die. Numerous civil citizens who did not have time to get out to the free lands also die. The worst is that during these conflicts a foreigner tries to control the country. In this way occupants appear and the number of their supporters, separatists, grows.»
