They left their native land to be free and to escape the Soviet world governed by the police and military regime. This book provides an interesting insight into their life, both in the Soviet Union and in the United States, and a glimpse of their struggle as artists in the old and new world. The book also includes memoires, letters, interviews, photographs, and a substantial number of reproductions of Yuri's drawings and paintings as well as of works by the author – Elizabeth Grachev.
