Two Part Harmony
Mark Billings is a man with a past.
He'd moved to the quiet little town of Seton's Hill, bought a bookstore, became part of the community, and fully intended to never re-visit his former life. And if he needed any more incentive, beautiful and talented high school music teacher Maura Elliot gave him every reason to embrace the future.
But the past has a way of not staying where it belongs.
Maura isn't a woman used to being ignored. And, okay, maybe the handsome bookstore owner isn't exactly ignoring the fiery redhead, but the on again, off again thing he seems to be doing is annoying beyond words. It's time to take matters into her own hands.
Just when everythings seems to be moving in the right direction, someone from Mark's past wants to make sure he never gets even close to a happily ever after, and is willing to use anyone -- including Maura -- to achieve that goal.
Mark will need the help of friends -- both old and new -- to confront the threat and make sure that Maura stays safe and he stays alive. And maybe, just maybe have the future he didn't even realize he wanted.
