It was the 1980s and I had it all: the perfect wife and child and of course, the perfect career. I had always been interested in the Criminal Justice system so it was no shock to anyone when I joined the Miami Beach Police Department, but after working in several departments that had me investigating some gruesome crimes that included violence against children, I knew I had to make a change and fast or lose my taste for finding justice for all. It was then that I was recruited by the DEA. At first it was a great job because I felt like I was finally making a difference. I was getting the bad guys off the streets and taking the addictive and life destroying drug cocaine off as well. Then everything went wrong and I found myself facing my people but they weren't looking at me with gratitude. Suddenly I found myself as enemy number one and I was in the defendant's chair. My whole world changed and so will yours when you read my book: Two Badges, Two Lives: Corruption.
