About the Author

Martin Waddell is an Irish children’s book author. He also writes stories under the pen name Catherine Sefton, primarily mystery fiction and ghost stories for older children. He received the Hans Christian Andersen Medal in 2004. Barbara Firth is an illustrator of children’s books and best known for her work on Little Bear titles with Martin Waddell.
