About the Author

Whipple is an entrepreneur, author, and academic scholar educated in some of the world's most prestigious universities (UCLA and Manchester Business School). Whipple contributed to research, testimonials, and advised policy makers in 2016 for the “Hidden in Plain Sight” Report to shape funding initiatives for a young homeless demographic in the United States. Whipple met with United States Secretary of Education John King in 2016 to discuss solutions and resources to support vulnerable at-risk students across the United States.


Whipple has previously published an editorial work that was read by tens of thousands of viewers via TheTab. This piece with TheTab highlighted a rising music star’s rare nature of embracing his struggles and physical flaws to inspire fans and supporters to own their identity and journey, while exposing the harsh reality certain demographics are subject to in the United States.

Whipple was featured in the Daily Bruin in 2016 for supporting youth in the foster system during a campus hosted program providing academic support, mentorship, and higher education access to foster youth.

Whipple spoke at the NAEHCY (National Association for Homeless Children and Youth) conference in Kansas City, Missouri in 2014 after receiving an award for his resilience amongst a cohort of young students that overcame remarkable odds to achieve academic success.
