While on a job assignment on a beautiful tropical island the author didn't realize he had accidently stumbled upon a time bomb contagious disease and some eight years later, although the disease was still not revealed to the public, he has the opportunity to revisit the scene from curiosity, while still not knowing the implications of his discovery.  But, as fate would have it, his return is detected and puts him and friends in harm's way. In their efforts to escape the suspected perpetrators he uses all available means to prevent capture and imprisonment or even death in order to return home to his wife. Once he returns home he is not sure how she will accept him after he discloses the events that took place.
