TRILOGY,Three Airplane Stories For Children
TRILOGY is a collection of three of my aviation stories for children that just seem to go together, because the model number of each of the airplanes in the story all contain the number "3"......Douglas DC-3, Piper J-3 Cub, and Lockheed P-3C Orion. My photos of these aircraft, a few in each story, are included.
1) "Antiques" is an air show story where a girl learns the meaning of the word"antique" by watching several people tour through a DC-3, and listening to their various comments.
2)"The Dream Of The Yellow Butterfly", is a sweet romantic tale of destiny about a lady who has dreamed a lovely dream all her life of a yellow butterfly, and a man who has spent his life searching for a certain type of cookie.
3) "Mattie Brown and her Daydream Birdie" is a fantasy about a school teacher and her necklace, and her endearing obsession with the U.S. Navy anti-submarine aircraft, P-3 Orion. She fantasizes that she is taking rides in them and going on mission to hunt submarines.
