Every year on October 31, the witch and warlock children of Transylvania jump on their magic brooms and fly into town to take part in the mortal's Harvests celebration. Although she enjoys the festivities, Abigail - the most precocious little witch of them all - wishes to bring back enough mortal treats to share with all of Transylvania to enjoy all year long! One day, after accidentally slipping into her mother's brewing pot, Abigail comes up with a brilliant plan.

She believes strongly in the importance of an active imagination and its ability to improve and maintain one's mental health. This belief feeds her passion to create mystical children's fairytales that are fun to read while staying connected to their innocence regardless of age. Also wanting to assist individuals in their journey to heal through rediscovery of core truth and speaking out loud, Antoinette creates books that speak to the individual's complete mind,body and soul.Antoinette holds a PhD in clinical psychology and specializes in reproductive health, adoption,PTSD, and grief and loss. She has served as an active Board member for the Cystic FibrosisFoundation (Orange County), Peace Over Violence (formerly Los Angeles Assaults AgainstWomen), Clackamas Women's Services, Boo2Bullying Foundation and a Board Advisor for TheYouth EmpowHERment Sleepover. Noor Alshalabi is a Jordan-based illustrator who started drawing ever since she learnt how to hold a pencil. After getting her BA in Visual Arts and Design, she pursued her dream of turning her imagination into reality through children's books. You can always find her with a cup of coffee, curled up with a good book, watching movies, playing with her pet bird, spending time with a friend, or going for a hike. Nature is both her source of inspiration and relaxation.

The witch and warlock youth of Transylvania look forward each year to October 31, when they join the “mortals” for Harvest celebrations. Young Abigail, a light-brown-skinned witch, wishes she could longer enjoy the humans’ holiday sweet treats. Surveilling children year-round via her mother’s brew, Abigail gets an idea: this year, she’ll offer the mortals a trick in return for their treats, which successfully garners her enough sweets to throw a whole immortal party. But when those treats, too, prove insufficient, she makes a deal with mortal adults to swap their children’s sweets for “a special present.” Jewel-toned, ethereal art by Alshalabi displays the coveted treats to enticing effect in an extended trick-or-treat origin story that offers a pragmatic approach to handling excess candy.
