About the Author

Baheya Zeitoun was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. She received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the American University in Cairo in 2013, and is currently a graduate student of English and Comparative Literature at the same institution.
She worked as a teacher for six years, while still embracing her passion for writing through poetry and short fiction on her blog. Her poetry was also published in the Rowayat Literary Journal. Baheya continues to share her work on her social media platform.
