Overview

In a world where black and white are more colorful then anything, Derrick and Amber, a middle class interracial couple residing in the suburb of Detroit, struggle with insecurities that lead to infidelity within their marriage. Hoping to reconcile after a heartfelt tragedy they begin counseling with Pastor Lewis and First Lady, Victoria Herman. Just when it seems like Derrick and Amber have discovered a path to healing on the horizon, life rejects that prospect when pleasure interferes with the greater good. Ultimately, progression comes to a halt and First Lady Victoria finds herself at the mercy of temptation.

D.L. Peavy was born in Kansas City, Kansas and later relocated to Kansas City, MO, where he found a love for helping others. He is a youth coach and a successful entrepreneur who owns an event planning company that specialize in weddings, corporate events, and more. Although, D.L. never liked reading as a child he grew to find a passion for writing in his adult years. He is often complimented on his energy and the delightful presence that he carries in his everyday life.
