If someone asked me to tell you my story, I’d have pretty much nothing to say. Well, okay, I do have something… My name’s Kay Sanders, and I was born… well, I don’t know where I was born, but I was taken in by my grandparents when I was still a baby. They tell me that my parents loved me very much, but couldn’t keep me. I guess it was too much money or something. I’ve lived in Manhattan, New York my whole life -all sixteen years- taking care of my grandparents, who are starting to get in retirement age. I have no hobbies other than taking the trash out, going to the post office to mail letters, and walking to school. Yep, that’s my life. Well, it was. Before this summer, that is. I had no idea that I would soon learn the truth about… well, let me just let you figure it out for yourself…..
