About the Author

"Steve Robinson, born September 11, 1988, raised in South Central, Los Angeles, CA to parents who both served and met in the army. One of six children, I have three sisters and two brothers. I attended Crenshaw High School and played several sports: basketball, ran track, tennis, and even was a proud participate of the swim team, despite my fear of diving. I had the pleasure of attending the University of Houston were I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Communications in May of 2010. In 2014, I began working with our youth at the YMCA being a Play Coach for one year. One year later, in 2015, I became a PE teacher for a Charter School in South LA, named Libertas College Prep. At the end of that school year, I was promoted to the Assistant Dean for one year and then became the full time dean. From 2017-2020, I had the pleasure of inspiring and being inspired by our youth in ways I could've never imagined. Writing is my life and has been my life for the past twenty plus years. My goal is to have this book in high school english curriculums.
