About the Author

Dave Jackson is a former teacher, headmaster and social worker who from May of 1989 to May of 1999 wrote a monthly senior column for the Boulder Daily Camera titled "Timelines." Of the 120 columns written during that time he has culled 104 of his favorites for reissue while at the same time splicing a number of incidental asides from his columns into a section of its own called "Bits and Pieces." He presently lives with his wife in Boulder.
