Overview

Tens of thousands of women in the U.S. and Canada have laughed, wept, and learned together at Time Out for Women events. Now you can share the spirit of those occasions with this Time Out Classics Bundle.

When Your Prayers Seem Unanswered

When Your Prayers Seem Unanswered offers piercing insights into the Lord's dealings with His children, and helps us learn to trust His timetable.

Confessions of an Unbalanced Woman

Confessions of an Unbalanced Woman shows what we can do to keep our perspective clear and get our priorities straight when we just don't seem to have enough time or energy to get everything done. Perfect for someone who needs a quick boost!

Keeping it Together In a Pull-Apart World

Is life pulling you in too many directions? Are you out of time, out of patience, and out of humor? Keeping It Together in a Pull-Apart World, the newest book in the Time Out Classics series, gives practical ideas for managing the stress of everyday life and redirecting your attention to the things that matter most. Bestselling author and popular speaker Mary Ellen Edmunds presents her usual mix of humorous anecdotes and thoughtful insights in this positive, upbeat approach to one of life's most common (and perplexing) dilemmas.

Too Much to Carry Alone

Are you carrying a burden or facing a challenge that defies resolution? Challenges are an inescapable fact of mortality. But do we make our burdens heavier by trying to carry them alone?

The Lord has promised us His help if we will turn to Him. Author Camille Fronk Olson writes, “Each of us is personally invited to come unto Christ and trust Him to heal us.” She testifies that “by accepting His invitation to come to Him, we find the way to resolve every one of our problems. We are not talking about temporary, Band-Aid treatments but eternal solutions.”

With such help available, why continue to be weighed down? The Lord has promised to lighten our burdens and give us rest if we take His yoke upon us. This perceptive and hope-filled book reminds us that the only real and eternal solution to our problems is to believe in His promise — and shows us how to take Him at His word.

Redefining Joy

What is the purpose of our being? How much joy are we supposed to feel in a troubled world? Can our trials make us happier as well as stronger? If joy is the absence of sorrow or disappointment, then how could God be happy (because surely He has reasons for both!)?

In this new addition to the popular Time Out Classics series, bestselling author Chris Stewart discusses how to experience a more joyful life. Drawing on unforgettable real-life experiences and rich examples from the scriptures, he offers suggestions for reorienting our lives in order to achieve greater joy and happiness — even in the most challenging times. Redefining Joy looks at some of life’s most difficult questions. But be prepared. The answers may surprise you.
