The following are updated instructions for best results: the liquid clear-coat in this kit is intended to be used to seal tiles that you have drawn designs on but not applied the alcohol technique to. If you want to create the tie-dyed effect on your tiles, we do not recommend using the liquid clear coat provided in this kit as it will not give you the optimum result. Instead, to seal your tie-dyed coasters to make them waterproof/colorfast, we strongly recommend applying a coat of spray-on acrylic sealer. The spay-on acrylic can be found at local craft, hobby or hardware stores.
