Overview

Jay Marks is a world class tennis pro. The Lone Ranger is the code name for the CIA’s deadliest assassin. Only three people in the world know that they are the same person. One is a Vietnam War hero and military contractor who thinks Marks killed his wife. The other two are his CIA handlers. About the Author

Howard Gimple has been a penslinger for most of his adult life. He was a copywriter and creative director for several ad agencies, now all defunct. He has written English dialogue for the American releases of Japanese anime cartoons, and reviewed movies, most of which he never saw, for a pay-per-view television network.
Howard is currently a senior writer and sports editor for THE BROOK, the alumni magazine of Stony Brook University. He co-wrote the University's Fight Song as well as a song for the movie "Rejuvenator."
Born in Flatbush, the heart of Brooklyn, Howard now lives on the north shore of Long Island.

As a former tennis writer who has actually covered those tournaments, the realism--not to mention the action-packed excitement--makes this a must-read. Gimple has a knack for developing characters that sound and speak like actual people. Simply put, this novel is Game, Set and Match against all others of its genre.

This is without question the most enjoyable book I've read in a very long time. For anyone who loves an action packed thriller which involves New York City and tennis, this book is it. The author has a wonderful gift for bringing his characters to life and his depth of knowledge of New York City and professional tennis is remarkable. Tennis fans will especially love the exciting ending. Once you start this book, you won't put it down.
