Tia Talks is a collection of humorous stories a beautiful English Setter tells about living with other dogs. And birds. And a horse, too. Tia shares events from her life at GREYSETT, a home in central Florida where Grandma and Aunt Lesley have a variety of breeds, all incorporated into one big happy family. Well, happy most of the time.

Tia is a funny storyteller. You'll chuckle as she sets the stage in each chapter and then describes the antics of the family members—the canines big and small, the little feathered ones, the big one with hooves, as well as the humans. In fact, you'll more than chuckle. Sometimes you'll laugh out loud as you read about Tia's life at GREYSETT.

The stories told by Tia are true. And as you might guess, "Aunt Lesley" is, of course, Lesley Osborn.

About the Author

Lesley Osborn is a septuagenarian who doesn’t remember a time without dogs.

She is the founder of Lesley Osborn Canine Consulting, offering education, advice, and guidance on fostering, adopting, and caring for adult, senior, and special needs dogs. Lesley provides proven, effective solutions learned through decades of experience for various issues in canine families—especially those with senior dogs.

Lesley’s love of dogs began at an early age with a family of English Setters. She was awarded English Setter Junior Handler of the Year in 1965. As the Setters aged, retired racing Greyhounds joined her family. This is the origin of the family canine home referred to as GREYSETT.

Lesley has provided a forever home for rescued dogs for over 40 years. Now she’s combining her love of writing with her love of dogs in her book series My Dogs Talk, where the dogs tell humorous stories about everyday life with multiple breeds living at GREYSETT.

The premier volume, Tia Talks — My Life in a Multi-breed Family, was published in December 2022.

Volume 2, Sophie Talks is in editing and scheduled for publication in early 2023.

Volume 3, Chole Talks is what Lesley is writing now.
