Overview

I gave up my life and relocated to be near my husband, only to find, I'd never felt more alone.

His ring was on my finger, but his mistress was his job. I was left alone and ignored... adrift in a sea of loneliness and confusion.

Craving a connection and desperate for affection my mind conjures up a handsome stranger. He haunts my sleep, and before long, my waking mind.

When strange occurrences start happening around me, I should be terrified. And I am. Until the truth becomes clear-- my dreams have manifest.

I'm living with a ghost.

Fear fades to intrigue and as the days pass, I fall deeper under his spell. Of a man long dead, who makes me feel alive and desired.

A man who isn't my husband.

Do I embrace this new, inexplicable love? Or fight my way through the fog, to the marriage I once treasured?

About the Author

Cece Ferrell wrote her first short story at the age of eight and has had a passion for the written word ever since. An intense fascination with stories from the past led her to getting her degree in Renaissance Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara.

Cece loves: words, especially of the four letter variety, snark, tea, all things crafty, and flawed characters who love passionately. She is a sucker for a great smile and thinks there is almost nothing better in the world than dessert.

Cece resides in Southern California with her husband and two little girls who constantly keep her on her toes. When she’s not writing, Cece can be found at the beach with her family, tending to her very tiny garden, finding new shows and horror movies to watch with her husband, and of course, reading.
