Once that is achieved the Gods return to Asgard, only after naming 3 families to lead the 3 kingdoms. Each kingdom with a population of over a hundred thousand and armies numbering in the tens of thousands.
In the realm of Heim, there are 3 kingdoms, Bilskirnir, Glitne, and Yggdrazil. Each kingdom has a noble family, chosen by the gods, sworn to them. In the North, resides Bilskirnir, a kingdom once led by the God Thor Odinson, and overlooks the Mirkwood forest. Glitne, the southern kingdom once housing the God Baldr's, built by Baldr for his son Forseti many years ago. Yggdrazil is the kingdom over all, housing the throne of the all-father Odin, and is the home of the king. Yggdrazil is located in the middle of Heim.
Yggdrazil has housed the Nilsen family, sworn in by Odin to rule the 3 kingdoms. King Erik Nilsen has sat upon the throne, made by Odin himself, for decades. King Erik is married to The queen Astrid Nilsen. Glitne's noble family is the Baldrson's descendants of Forseti, and are the only known bloodlines of the Gods. and finally the noble Torvald's, who lead Bilskirnir, the kingdom of Thor Odinson. Bilskirnir is the kingdom near the forest Mirkwood, the dark forest. Inspiring the family words "In darkness, we rise '', because of their history of the realm being built from nothing into a thriving kingdom. Even with a hostile landscape of the northern forest and the darkness that lies within it.

About the Author

I’m a writer and graphic designer with a passion for creating stories that readers can become engaged in, relate to, and be inspired by. As a writer I want to create worlds where people can escape from reality. I love being able to bring out the best in my characters and have them shine through their struggles. I'm also a graphic designer who loves working with images and colors. I've worked on several projects including logos, website designs, posters, etc… The best part about design work is that it allows me to combine art with writing which makes it even more fun!
