Thriving on Purpose is a book written by Sylvia K. Dorisme, Founder of Zeal Technical Institute.
Sylvia has an incredibly powerful story and has undoubtedly defied the odds in her life time and again. Having migrated to the United States at 14 years old, she had a vision to become the first college graduate in her family, and has successfully fulfilled that vision. Over the past 10+ years, she has grown Zeal Technical Institute (previously known as Southwestern Vocational Training), a private post-secondary school, into a recognizable brand in the Southwest Florida market that has served thousands of graduates. After years of managing a Technical school. she witness first hands the impact of childhood trauma in her students lives. Their story wasn't much different than hers and she dedicated her career teaching underserved women how to overcome traumas by finding their purpose and healing.
