'Thoughts From the Heart': 'A Christian Inspired Poetry Collection'

Overview

'Thoughts From the Heart' is a Christian inspired collection of poetry that I have written to help others to either get connected, lean in on their faith, or rekindle their faith in God, to receive Scriptural comfort to cope with grieving the death of a loved one, and to cope with trying to live for God in a world that is so contradictive to His reasoning that it actually defines good and evil
Shortly after I conceived my dear son Branden, he developed a blockage in his urinary tract, which led to him being challenged to cope with a rare syndrome. He passed away at age twelve, so I pray that my poems will help other parents to lean in on their faith to not feel blamed, punished, or unworthy of God's love.
I hope that my poems will be an inspiration that expresses the knowledge I've learned through my own suffered trials, and to help with grieving the death of a loved, as well as all aspects of living, including the severity of our divided country.
I've also written poems expressing my love for God, my parents, our country and a very special pet. As my intention to help others is of top priority, I certainly appreciate the opportunity to share my poetry.

About the Author

' C.K. Norris is the name I've chosen to journey my writing endeavors.
I was born and still reside in Pennsylvania.
I've completed high school, and in 2008 I received my diploma after completing a two-year writing course at 'The Institute of Children's Literature' in Connecticut. I also received a certificate for completing a one-year study in ministry.
I'm a mother of my son who passed away in 2005 due to complication of a rare syndrome.
My father was a dedicated coal miner for 47 years, and passed away in 1988, and my mother was a stay-at-home wife and mother and passed away in 2003. I have two siblings.
I've endured many suffered trials that led me to deepen my faith in God, and I've chose to strive to inherit the values of the Christian faith. God has inspired me and has guided me onto a path that turned my hardships into positive and understanding outcomes. It's sincerely my intention to help others to deepen, rekindle, or begin a relationship with God to receive the comfort needed to rise above the pain of grief of their suffering, and to understand that crisis that causes hardship are due to living in a corrupt and evil world that contradicts God's reasoning to such a great extent that it defines good and evil.
I'm in the midst of completing a manuscript titled 'Life Through Christ' 'True Disciple or False Prophet', and plan to hopefully have it finished this summer.
I want to express my appreciation for the opportunity to share my poems with others.
