Overview

On the basis of his own output and his DVD series TREAL TV, rapper Mac Dre built up a small West Coast empire. Some of the denizens, and fellow rappers, of Dre's empire are featured on the THIZZ NATION VOL. 5. Keak the Sneak, Mistah F.A.B., Bavgate, and Kuzzo Fly are only a few of the artists appearing on THIZZ NATION, while the general vibe, which mirror's Dre's own hardcore ethos, merges laid-back Cali G-funk with Dirty South bounce. Fans of Mac Dre's music should check out this collection for a preview of Northern California's up-and-coming hardcore scene. The set also comes with a bonus DVD.
