About the Author

Eleanor Fader is a renowned writer of gospel, children's songs, and humor. She has done dramatic pieces to comedy, on stage as a member of Stage Right Players, Ventura Drama, Simi Valley, Drama. She was commended by Hillary Clinton for her dramatic piece honoring women, "Walk Through Time." Her gospel and easy listening songs have aired in various parts of the country. She won honorable mention for her song, "Lovin' Again," in the Nashville Songwriter's Contest. She is a gifted speaker, and promotes her Civil War novel.

"This Way To Glory, has been recorded by the Braille Institute of Los Angeles, for distribution to the blind. Her novel has been recommended to Reader's Digest, for a condensed version of her novel.

Eleanor and her husband have visited many Civil War sights to insure the authenticity of text. This spell binding book was over ten years in writing, and is based on a true story of her great-grandfather's incredible adventure as a volunteer in the Ohio Infantry.

Eleanor was born in Denver, Colorado. She has been married for fifty one years to the same man. They have five grown children, and eight grand children. She now lives in Simi Valley, California.
