About the Author

Penny Little is the creator and illustrator of Little Savage Books and Cartoons. Penny began a cartoon journal of her life in the early 90's, while she was signed to Warner Brother's UK as a singer songwriter. Upon her return to the US, Penny met Nik Green from Geffen band "Blue Murder", and they formed the Away Team. The Away Team was featured in Unconventional Tour 2008, a "mashup of media, music and politics" performing in major cities in the USA. In addition to writing and performing in the Away Team, Penny's cartoon character, Little Savage has run for President since 1996, "but the other cartoons always seem to win. " Penny has also worked with Gang Prevention Through the Arts, Artists in the Schools, Summer Solstice Celebration, Association for Global New Thought and non-profits to produce events, videos and messaging for good causes.

Penny is a founding member of People to People TV, has produced numerous commercials, shorts and several feature documentaries including the award winning "Electile Dysfunction" and "911 Dust and Deceit". Her films have been shown in film festivals, independent theaters and venues in the US and abroad. She worked with Academy Award winner Barbara Trent to produce the film"Waging Peace".
