About the Author

Helena Harastova is a writer, translator, and mother. She graduated in Dramaturgy from the Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts, having previously worked for the National Theatre in Brno, Czech Republic. Her most unusual pastime is proofreading texts for errors in spelling, grammar, and style.

Anastasia Kobern is a children’s book illustrator from a small town in Ukraine. She’s working with amazing talented people all around the world. She has a great passion for watercolor and digital hand drawn illustrations. Ana is not just an illustrator, but a mom of two little girls, explorer, sport, dance and music lover, so her days are never boring. She has a mind full of ideas and her main aim is to create interesting books for young readers and to show them the beauty and variety of our world, to teach them how to hear yourself and to understand your feelings & emotions. She adores showing the real life and experiences of ordinary people in her artworks. Her illustrations combine the love for finely defined color palettes with detailed elements and charming characters.
