About the Author

I'm a young author from the United States. The first book I've written and completed was "They're Just Killers" I was only around 13 at the time so the writing was, to say the least, horrible. A few years ago I revisited it, I had it posted on Wattpad (not the smartest idea), and did some basic editing. However, the book was, as you could imagine, horrible. So I did a strip-down of it. I redid the plot, deleted numerous paragraphs to rewrite them, etc. but it was still not enough. Recently, I've started another book that I love (Patience) and decided to revisit my old book. It had reached over 700k views. It was crazy. Obviously, there was something there that people loved, so I did another strip-down, but I realized that I can't just rewrite all of it as I had originally planned. So all I did was a quick grammar and spelling check and published it on Amazon. That was a wake-up call, I had discarded my dream of being a writer but this made me realize that I could achieve that dream. I also discovered that this was a perfect way to normalize and de-fetishize the lgbtq+ community in the media. Being lgbtq+ myself, I strongly believe that there should be more authors inserting lgbtq+ characters. Maybe even making them the main character. Though, I'm not big on romance, more suspense, and thriller. Nevertheless, there is (and will continue being) representation for my community.
