About the Author

After walking away from writing for over a decade, the U of MN graduate returned to poetry with a renewed passion, penning over 700 poems in the first half of 2021. After curating his favorite sixty poems, he approached one of his favorite local artists, Kerri O'Halloran, to reflect each poem through her paintings.

From a young age, Kerri O'Halloran was heavily involved in theater which helped spark her love for art. She is an actor, screenwriter, and illustrator but has found her true passion is abstract art. When Dane approached her about the book, she was more than happy to collaborate.
