Overview

From the back of the book: "The moon sings a song of enduring love for us from the moment we are born. By listening for her song in the big, bright, beautiful world around us, we can overcome loss and hardship and feel that love again

Her lullaby is written into the trees, and you only need to still your heart to hear it again."

There's Love in the Trees tells this magical story with heartwarming and beautiful illustrations. Its charm is immediate and makes it an instant classic. A musical journey is also included with a full reading performed by Leonard Cary, adding a new dimension for young readers to explore.

About the Author

Josiah Green is an artist residing in the heart of Seattle, Washington. It was his desire to create a children's book which could be passed on to his own children as a reminder of his love for them, and that vision came to fruition with There's Love in the Trees, Josiah's first published children's book. When asked about the book, Josiah said "I have always wanted to create illustrations for a children's book. When Jeff got back to me with the poem for There's Love in the Trees, I knew this venture would be meaningful and I couldn't wait to begin."

Jeffrey Carabelos is an aspiring author and composer in Denver, Colorado. Jeffrey loves writing short stories and is working on a novel at this time while working diligently to create the next installment in the Little Myths series. Jeffrey has stated that creating the poem "There's Love in the Trees" was a deep reflection of his own life and how he learned to cope with traumas he faced in his adolescence. When asked, he stated "Josiah and I wanted to create something meaningful which could, just maybe, help children see that their existence is truly meaningful, and that self-love and experiencing the wonder of the world can cure many heartaches."

The two artists have been lifelong friends who share a big heart for the world and the people who live in it. They both aim to continue their children's book series in the coming year.
