CHAPTER 1

There once was a bullfrog, who called himself KING. He ruled over the frogs and other boggy things.

KING was bossy and rude, and really quite mean, even to polliwogs who played in the stream.

"I'm KING around here, so do as I say!" He croaked out his orders each and everyday. "Don't eat my bugs!" he yelled as he bit.

"Stay off my lily pads!" he warned with a kick.
