Theology From the Spring
Through beautiful imagery and natural wonder, Pastor Jacob A. Taggart takes his readers on a voyage to pull them out from behind their screens and back into the world that reflects the One Who created everything. Fly fishing and freshwater springs are a tonic for the soul, each flowing forth with primal truths. Through vignettes of fresh water springs and fly fishing analogies, Theology from the Spring provides the reader with eyes for seeing latent, Divine truths that make sense of the beauty and chaos we see within the created order.

Whether you are an avid fisherman or don't know your floater from your line, Theology of the Spring can still awe and inspire you by bringing you back to the spring and, more importantly, to the One Who created the spring.

In Theology from the Spring, Jacob Taggart evinces a thick affection for hours of solitude in the outdoors. He is obviously a man of deep passions--chief among them theology, fishing, and the world God has made. This book is--like the mythic fish outdoorsmen talk about years later--one of a kind--a blend of apologetics, doctrine, scientific observation, and reminiscence. I commend it to you, whether you are entirely new to the Christian faith or have been searching the grace-dappled streams of God for a lifetime. Taggart is a sharp-eyed guide, and his thoughtful exploration of the faith once-for-all delivered to the saints enriches, instructs, and creates praise to our all-wise God.
