This charming opposites-attracts romance tells the story of Bennett Carey, responsible eldest son of the Carey dynasty, and Hannah Yates, the woman he's just hired to rebuild his fire-damaged restaurant. Child's characters shine, with strongly drawn interpersonal relationships beyond the central romance, effortlessly weaving in characters and story lines from previous books in the series. Readers looking for a slow burn with believable tension and obstacles, as well as a simmering attraction beneath every interaction, will find it in this book.
