Overview

In 2009, Nicholas Bylotas cast off from college society and conventional life. Donating his possessions and minimizing his life into a backpack, he embarked on a life-changing journey that brought him atop triumphant peaks, into deep valleys, and through treacherous urban jungles. Seeking purpose and identity in a confused world he walked into the unknown. Along the highways of New Mexico and the wild paths of the southwest to California, he discovers enterprise and opportunity in every step. Along the way, he meets people and situations that guide him on his journey, urging him towards destiny.

This book not only chronicles his travels, but is also the journal of his soul. There were times of brilliant glory as he overcame the obstacles of life. There were also moments of dark strife as he confronted the demons of his own mind. This journal is his story, his friend, his lover, and his faithful companion, dedicated to you and to all.

Walk with me along the way and experience as I have the transformation of leaping into the ocean of life from the cliffs of reason. You may find yourself as I have, washed ashore in the foreign territory of my own mind, brimming with passion and inspiration, knowing that together, the fate of the world is ours to choose.
